Privacy Policy

MedicsCircle is operated from Bengaluru, India by BG TechHub Pvt. Ltd. (BG THUB). For anything in this policy, write to medicscircle@gmail.com.

• Sign-in details. The email address or phone number you sign in with. There are no passwords: we send a one-time code.
• Professional profile (candidates). What you choose to add: name, role, experience, qualifications, certificates, CV, photo, city, availability and contact details.
• Clinic information (employers). Clinic and organisation details, registration details used for verification, team members, and the job openings you post.
• Activity on the platform. Applications, saved jobs, hiring decisions and messages between candidates and clinics.
• Technical logs. Our servers record standard request information, such as IP address and time, to keep the service secure and to detect abuse.

• Anyone can see job openings and clinic pages. A candidate profile that is listed for clinics shows only a limited set of fields (such as name, role, experience, qualification badges and city). It does not show your email, phone number, CV or registration number.
• Verified clinics can search listed candidates, open a candidate's CV and certificates, and reveal contact details. Documents are opened through links that expire within about a minute, and each access is recorded.
• A clinic you apply to sees your application and the CV you submitted.
• Professional registration numbers are never shown publicly. Only a “verified” badge is.
• MedicsCircle staff can review accounts and clinics for verification and safety.

We use PostHog to count which pages and features are used, so we can improve the product. It is on by default because it carries no personal or health information (below), and you can turn it off at any time. If you turn it off, or your browser sends a Do-Not-Track signal, no analytics request is made.

• We identify you only by an internal account number, never by name, email or phone.
• We never send names, emails, phone numbers, CVs, certificates, registration numbers or message text.
• Web addresses are cleaned before they are sent: identifiers of people and conversations are removed, and search words are never included.
• We do not record your screen or your clicks and keystrokes, and neither your IP address nor a location worked out from it is stored.
• Platform staff are not tracked.
• PostHog processes this data on our behalf in the United States.

To turn analytics off (or back on): Analytics settings (also in the footer of every page). It never affects what you can do on MedicsCircle.

Platform data is stored with Amazon Web Services in India (Mumbai), encrypted at rest and in transit. Our providers are: Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage and sign-in), Cloudflare (a challenge that checks a person is requesting a sign-in code, when enabled) and PostHog (analytics, only if you accept). We do not sell your information.

We keep your information while your account is active. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time by writing to medicscircle@gmail.com; we will do so unless the law requires us to keep something.

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may ask to access your information, have it corrected or erased, withdraw consent you have given, and raise a grievance. Write to medicscircle@gmail.com. We will acknowledge your request and respond as quickly as we can, within the time the law allows.

MedicsCircle is for dental professionals and clinics. It is not intended for anyone under 18.

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and its date, and ask for your permission again where the law requires it.
